Meet one of the rising stars of Angolan Afro House/Kuduro Dance Scene: Os Sem Nome

Os 100 Nome are the winners of our October 2022 Afrohouse and Kuduro dance showcase. The trio has a unique style that is a mesmerizing fusion of Angolan and Afro dances. They stand out for their precision, synchronization and how they utilize the space when they dance. We have seen a lot of fast footwork, but only a few have mastered the ability to execute fast footwork that is precise, clean and with coordinated flow of the upper and lower body. AfroConex is a platform that connects with Angolan and other Afro cultures through dance and music. Capturing and documenting the dance and music of those cultures and supporting the exposure of artists. Our objective is to bring more visibility to the Kuduro/Afro House dance culture of Angola. Giving you an up-close and in-depth view of the dance and the dance artists pushing the culture. At our core we are dance lovers, and therefore will also tell dance stories from across the African continent and Afro diaspora. Be sure to Join our membership channel where we dig deeper into Angolan dances. On our channel we have documentaries, workshops, interviews, BTS footage from our content production and much more! Meet Angola's Hottest AfroHouse/Kuduro Dance Group: Os VD

We love surveying the Luanda dance landscape for dancers who go the extra mile to be creative in their dance. Os VD is one of those groups that caught our attention because of the quality of their dance. What we love about Os VD is not only are they fast, but they are precise. They create their own footwork combinations and dance with a lightness that allows them to nimbly move through fast sequences.
