AfroConex was there for the first edition of Le Soro, which happened on September 6th in New York City. The 1 day Afro Dance festival founded by Alice, Tima and Amilia, launched with a bang. Students from across the Northeast gathered for over 11 hours of continuous dancing. The festival offered classes in 5 different African Street dance genres: Afrohouse from Angola, Azonto from Ghana, Ndombolo from Congo, Amapiano from South Africa, and Naija fusion from Nigeria.
